How long we retain your data

If you fill out a form, the information and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Cookies collected through our website and Google Analytics are retained for 50 months or less (eg. If you visit our website in June of 2019, Google Analytics will store your cookies for 50 months from that date). After 50 months, cookies are automatically deleted. The length of time that cookies are retained is renewed each time you visit our website.

At Skin Science Dermatology, we value our patient’s time, and strive to run on time. That usually means we can only focus on an area of specific concern during your visit. Should you be unable to keep your appointment, please contact our office at least 24 hours in advance to cancel; failure to do so can result in a $75 fee.

If you are late for your appointment, we cannot guarantee that appointment and you may be asked to reschedule.

OHIP only covers medical services. Cosmetic consultations and procedures are not covered. If you are unsure whether a particular service or procedure is covered, please contact us to clarify.
